Jimmy Krankies Cap has been chosen to be displayed in the V&A Museum

The display is in the Theatre and Performance Galleries at the V&A that celebrates great comedians and their iconography. The display will feature a number of hats, spectacles, props and shoes, including:

Victoria Wood’s beret

Dame Edna’s spectacles

Eric Morecambe’s glasses

Will Hay’s pince-nez

Ken Dodd’s Tickling Stick

Charlie Chaplin’s cane

Nellie Wallace’s umbrella
